General guidelines to applicants for the titled Scholarship:
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria among other specific criteria by their respective units.
1) Possess a first class or second-class upper division. The Scholarship is offered on merit (preference will be offered to the best students).
2) Must have been admitted for the September 2020 intake in the particular programme.
3) Duration and commencement: Scholarship is conditional and tenable for two (2) consecutive years and is not transferable within departments.
4) Scholarship must be taken at time of offer (no deferments and temporary withdrawal from studies while on scholarship).
5) Scholarships are for full time students only; the student has to take the maximum number of units per semester, and successful students must comply with the terms and conditions of the scholarship and complete their studies within the stipulated programme duration.
6) Equal opportunities: Female candidates and candidates from less privileged regions or groups as well as candidates with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.
7) Application Procedures: Applications should be on line at https://application.uonbi.ac.ke/. Choose Masters on the dropdown menu and search for Master of Nuclear Science and which should include an application letter addressed to the Dean/Director, letter of admission and certified copies of degree certificate, transcripts and a motivation letter must be sent to the respective Dean/Director.

Does it mean that you first apply for the masters course before you apply for scholarship? If so how long does it take to get admission letter.
Graduate School Response:
Yes, you first have to apply for a masters degree before applying for the scholarship. Currently the September intake applications are being processed.

Its applications are Atmospheric and Environmental studies, Food and Agriculture, Industrial processes, Medical diagnosis, Nuclear electricity generation, Water security, Security etc. The continued negative impact in or environment due to climate variability, desertification and rising populations; this is the knowledge to promote your marketability in employment locally and globally.
Admission to the program will facilitate you a platform for applications to local and international funding organisation for support and other Scholarships.
