The IAEA successfully conducted a Regional (AFRA) Training Course on Diagnosing Industrial Processes Using Computer Tomography at CNSTN, Tunis, Tunisia  4 – 8 March 2019. Wilson Macharia Kairu, a staff at the Institute of Nuclear Science, was nominated by the Kenyan Government to attend the training. The training was organised through the TC Project RA0046, 'Promoting Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries through Triangular Partnerships and Sustaining Regional Ownership of the AFRA Programme'. The objective of RAF0046 is to further enhance AFRA regional ownership and the self-reliance and sustainability of national nuclear institutions and other end users of nuclear techniques in African Member States through the rationalization of scientific programmes and managerial practices by ensuring their relevance through capacity building programmes and good managerial practices.
